The Short Answer
GC Tech's published SEO packages are RM 999, RM 2,888 and RM 5,288 per month. These are our listed prices, not a survey of every Malaysian provider. A quote from any agency should state the actual work, reporting, contract terms and any additional costs.
SEO helps people and search engines understand your pages. No agency can promise a particular ranking or inclusion in Google's index. Google's SEO Starter Guide explains the basics and the limits.
GC Tech's Published SEO Packages
The table summarises the packages on our SEO service page. Confirm the current scope and price in a written quotation before ordering.
| Package | Listed Monthly Price | Selected Inclusions |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | RM 999 | Up to 10 target keywords, on-page work, monthly technical audit and Google Business Profile work. |
| Growth | RM 2,888 | Up to 25 target keywords, technical and local SEO, two blog posts per month and competitor monitoring. |
| Enterprise | RM 5,288 | Technical SEO management, content strategy, four blog posts per month and a dedicated account manager. |
Packages also describe link outreach and reporting. Ask how potential links are evaluated and whether content drafting, approvals, development changes and third-party tools are included. A monthly fee has little meaning without those details.
What Changes the Price of SEO?
Website Condition
A site with indexing problems, duplicate pages or slow templates needs technical work before a content plan can perform well. Request an audit that names the pages and issues, not a generic score.
Market and Service Area
Serving one neighbourhood usually requires a smaller content and location plan than serving multiple cities or languages. Competition matters, but a proposal should explain the actual search topics and pages it will target.
Content and Implementation
Writing an article, interviewing your team, editing a product catalogue and implementing developer changes are different tasks. Confirm who provides source material, approves factual claims and publishes the changes.
Measurement
Agree on a baseline before work starts. Useful measures include relevant organic visits, enquiries, qualified calls and sales. Search Console helps you inspect queries and indexing; analytics helps you track what visitors do after they arrive.
How to Set a Sensible SEO Budget
- Define the business goal. Decide which products, services or locations you want search traffic to support.
- Estimate what a qualified enquiry is worth. Use your own sales and conversion data rather than a universal marketing-budget percentage.
- Ask for a three to six month work plan. It should identify priority pages, technical tasks, content work and who owns each deliverable.
- Set review points. Compare the delivered work and relevant leads against the baseline. Adjust scope if the evidence calls for it.
Google says some changes can appear in Search within hours while others take months. Assess the work and results over time; a fixed timetable for ranking gains would be misleading. See Google's guidance on evaluating SEO changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a higher monthly fee always better?
No. Compare the work, the experience of the people doing it and the evidence in the reports. A larger budget can fund more work; it does not guarantee stronger rankings.
Can I do SEO myself?
Yes. Start with clear service pages, useful answers to customer questions, a site that works on mobile and Search Console access. Google's SEO Starter Guide is a free starting point. Bring in help when technical changes or content production exceed your team's time.
Can an agency guarantee first place on Google?
No. Search results change by query, location and competition. Ask an agency to describe the work it controls and how it will report progress.
